Urban history has been written along flowing water. In London, with the Thames as its working engine and living archive, that current runs through every era. Tracing the history of water here exposes how the city has continually adapted to the tide.

MEETING POINT: Eden dock, near canary Wharf sign
The event unfolds in three movements:
The journey begins on Eden Dock platform, we gather for an introductory frame... and a few initial surprises.
Next, we'll embark on a boat trip. We take to the water alongside Danny, a former dockworker from the pre-redevelopment era. He will pass us along the physical watermarks of London’s former port. Refreshments and treats will be served on board as we move at an unhurried pace.
Finally, crossing the peninsula, we step into the museum to reframe the story of water through a deep historical archive.
This is full collective immersion: the individual dissolving into shared experience, rooted in place and participation.
Limited to a group of 8 people to preserve the intimacy of the experience. Buoyancy aids are available for adults if requested.
